This is an old photo, taken with a 35mm film camera many years ago at a Vodou ceremony in Mariani, Haiti. It's a detail from the shadows of a larger photo of many vodouizan dancing for Ogou, for community. I've always been drawn to this image, these two beautiful women, the tenderness of strength.
